Fax
To send a fax as e-mail
- Open Outlook 2003.
- On the File
menu,
point to New, and then click Mail
Message. A new message form
appears.
- In the To line, do one of the
following:
- Type a fax number, using the
following
format:
[fax:fax
number]
Or,
- Enter a
fax recipient
from your personal contacts list, public folder contacts, or the company's
global address list.
- Type the subject and message, and then
click Send.
Notes
- To include a cover
page: In Outlook, on the
Tools menu, click E-mail
Accounts. Select Fax Mail
Transport, and then click Change. Select the Include
a cover page with faxes
check box. Select a cover page, and then click
OK.
- To send a fax from
your
desktop, Fax Mail Transport must be installed.
To find out if it is
installed: In Outlook, on the Tools menu, click E-mail
Accounts. Fax Mail Transport
should be
listed. If it is not listed, contact the
person responsible for your network.
