To cancel an alert

You can cancel the e-mail notification you receive when changes are made in a document, document library, or list.

  1. Open your company's internal Web site.

    Your company's internal Web site should appear when you open Internet Explorer. If it does not, click My Company on the Favorites menu.

  2. On the top navigation bar, click Site Settings.
  3. Under Manage My Information, click My Alerts on this site.
  4. Select the check box(es) for the alert(s) that you want to cancel, and then click Delete Selected Alerts.
