Manny, The Camcorder seems to work fine. I have used it a few times and it performs well. Thank you for your kind attention to this problem. My video recorder is also working so between the camcorder and video recorder I should be able to move my tapes to discs without problem. The tapes are deteriorating and I need to get this done soon. It all worked out well. I have several tapes I thought were gone for good. The cost was right on and shipping went perfectly. Not only do I have the tapes back to where they can be transferred I have a very good camcorder. Thanks for a job well done.

The unit now works fine. A-Tech Electronics was able to repair it when other technicians had failed. The turn-around was fast. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a problem with an older Sony, especially a unit that is rather unique like the 8mm EV-C100.

There were no surprises as to cost or return shipping. My unit was repaired as stated and shipped back to me quickly. I am glad I found a service that is specialized for these older units otherwise they would just be more e-waste.
